President Obama made this comment to leaders in the gay and lesbian community at the White House yesterday….
“We’ve been in office six months now,” “I suspect that by the time this administration is over, I think you guys will have pretty good feelings about the Obama administration.”
So, basically he’s saying that you may have to wait 8 years to get your equality, but you’ll get it when I’m ready to give it to you… and “You’ll Like it”
Sounds like an abusive father doesn’t it?
I stand in support of free and fair elections.

A New Reason to Protest During Pride Fest 2009

Over the last several years, the pride marches have become more of a celebration instead of a protest march for civil rights.
This year is different.
This year, Congress and the President of the United States have the power to end Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell and the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act, but they choose not to act.
Instead, they choose to do nothing and yet act like they’re friends of gays and lesbians.
Well, this year, I have no political friends. It’s time for Democrats to act .
Obama even made a campaign promise to end both, but has not yet called on Congress to act. Since when is justice delayed as good as justice served?
